Welcome to aTopSites, a Web 2.0 buzzword-compliant Web site featuring:

• Web services mashup!
• Ajax!

...but seriously this site uses data gathered from various Alexa Web Services to display information similar to what's available on Alexa.com. I put the site together to help me get back up to speed on the latest in Web development technologies.

At the moment the amount of site data available is a very small subset of what's available on Alexa.com since it costs money to fetch the data from Amazon and I did this as a learning exercise as I mentioned above. Hopefully there's still enough here to be of some use to you — e.g. the number of sites shown in the global and country rankings is larger than what's currently available on Alexa.com.
